Function or control
Blocks or unblocks channels. This function is

box.
Selects next channel. This function is only

Searches for channels automatically. This
function is only available when using the
optional TV tuner box.
Lets you select from the available languages
on a DVD.
Closes the menu and returns to the picture.
Accesses the A–B Repeat function to repeat
selected parts of disc.
Scans backward at 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 times
normal.
Scans forward at 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 times
normal.
Plays a DVD in slow motion.
Press once to stop the playback of the DVD at
the present point. Press twice to stop playing
the DVD.
Shows the title menu (main menu) on a DVD.
Press to start the playback of a DVD or select a
setting. Press again to pause playback.
Backs up to the previous chapter, track, or
scene during playback of a DVD.
Advances to the next chapter, track, or scene
during playback of a DVD.
Accesses the Setup menu.
Selects an item or confirms a setting.
