The GRKLR01 installation kit allows for the retention of the vehicle’s steering wheel controls and helps maintain the original aesthetic of the interior when installing a new car stereo. The GRKLR01 gives you everything you need for a complete install in one box. The components of this kit are compatible for the Land Rover Freelander (MK2, 2006-2014) and the Land Rover Range Rover Sport (2005-2009) with non-amplified factory stereos. - Page 3 FITTING GUIDE STEREO REMOVAL 1. Remove the top of the gear shifter by pulling it up and out of the gear shaft. 2. Use a bojo tool to pry away both sides of the main fascia surround, then, lifting from the top, remove from the dashboard.
- Page 4 FITTING GUIDE STEREO INSTALLATION 1. Take the steering wheel control interface and attach the 14-way steering wheel harness connector to the relevant side. 2. Take the patch lead and only attach ‘Key 1’, ‘Key 2’ and ‘Ground’ to the corresponding wires on the stereo.
