After the trigger

• The unit will attempt to recover from a momentary
disconnection of an intermittent connector or
temporary distortion of cable. For example, if a truck
runs over the cable and the cable later recovers.
o After a trigger event is detected the unit will check
10 seconds after the data has been saved to see if
the cable has returned to its original length.
o If this is the case it will reset itself and wait for a
further trigger event.

Shut Down procedure

• After the above conditions have been checked the unit
will enter a 15 minute "wait for Bluetooth
communication" period.
• The button will flash briefly RED once every 30 seconds.
• If during this period, a Bluetooth connection is made
the unit will connect to the application.
• The data just recorded can be downloaded if required.
• If no communications have been received in 15 minutes
the unit switches itself off.
• Pressing the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds until button
illuminates BLUE will switch the unit of in this wait
period.
