SECTION 7: SYSTEM DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

BILGE PUMP SYSTEMS

The function of the bilge pump is to remove water that collects in the bilge, which is the bottom of the inside of the hull.
Your NauticStar Hybrid will have either 1 or 2 bilge pumps depending on the model. 1 bilge pump will be an auto bilge pump
and the other bilge pump will be manually controlled. Bilge pumps are accessed through the access plate located in the
splash well. For the 251, access can also be gained by opening the rear seat trunk. These bilge pumps are rated for 800
GPH (gallons per hour) and will pump water directly overboard.
