Load dry cell batteries correctly according to the polarity indications. When placing dry cells in the megaphone, be careful with the polarity indications and load dry cells correctly according to the display.
Names and Functions Trigger Switch When the trigger switch is pulled, the megaphone is on, into the operating condition. When the switch is released, the instrument is off. Make it a habit to pull the trigger only while talking, which will save battery power to a considerable extent, With the TR-215SA, if the trigger switch is pulled while siren is sounding, the siren stops and voice amplification is possible. Shoulder Belt Warning Never use this megaphone in the water or high water pressure. To prevent fire or malfunction. Never break up or modify the megaphone by yourselves. Rain or drops of water may enter inside the body and cause fire or malfunction.

Battery Compartment Cover Place six dry cells (R6P/AA-size) in the case correctly as indicated by polarity display. (See to "Loading Batteries" ) Microphone Unit Keep the microphone unit 1 to 2 cm from your mouth. If the distance is too great, amplification will be insufficient. Note: In case that microphone unit cover holes are clogged up by drops of water, the sound volume may be decreased markedly. Please wipe the microphone unit cover with an absorbent cloth. Siren Button Press the switch to start repeating siren sound for 5 seconds TR-215SA with changing frequency regardless of volume control setting. Press the switch again during operating to stop. TR-215WA This button is not equipped for TR-215A Whistle Button When the whistle switch is pressed down, the whistle starts to sound regardless of the setting of the volume control. Releasing the switch stops it. This button is not equipped for TR-215A Volume Control Volume Volume decreased increased Set the volume control at a desired position as long as no howling is caused. Be sure to set the volume control minimum (position of "1") before pulling trigger switch. (Sound level of the siren or whistle is constant regardless of the setting.)
Loading Batteries •Follow the instruction as followings when loading or replacing dry cell batteries (R6P/AA-size). Remove the battery cover.
