Section 1: Introduction
Section 1.1: Scope
This manual describes the operation of the ZeroRPM® IMS). It provides basic information about the system and
describes both the general theory of operation and the theory of operation of specific aspects of the system.
The IMS is designed to control the vehicle's chassis engine to reduce idling while maintaining a comfortable work
environment in the cab. It maintains electrical power required for computers, lighting, and vehicle accessories.
The IMS provides an interface between the equipment and the vehicle while providing the operator with necessary
information.
The operation and simulated screens presented in this manual are based on software stated on the title page of this
document. The information covered in this manual is subject to change without notice.
