If the water heater has been subjected to fire, flood, natural disasters or physical damage, DO NOT operate the
water heater again until it has been checked by a qualified service technician.
Failure to do so will cause injury.
Hydrogen gas can be produced in a hot water tank served by this water heater that has not been used for two
weeks or more. Hydrogen gas is extremely dangerous since it is flammable.
It is recommended to open the water faucet for few minutes before using any electrical appliance connected to
the hot water system.
If hydrogen gas is stored inside of a tank, there is a noise of air bleeding, in case that sound is heard, please do
not use fire around the unit.
