    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS • Read all instructions before using this convection heater. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! • In Canada, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before installing and operating this product, the user and/or installer must read, understand and follow these instructions and keep them handy for future reference.
  • Page 4 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 10.This unit must not come into contact with any water source and must be protected from splashes (e.g. a wet mop). Do not use it if any part has been immersed. Moreover, do not turn it on or off when standing in water or if your hands are wet. 11.When mounting the unit, make sure that the anchorage used can support the total weight of the unit with the mounting brackets.

    The heater has a thermal cut-off protection. If the thermal cut-off protection trips, switch off the power. The unit should reset automatically after 10 minutes.     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS • Installation must be performed in accordance with the requirements of CEC by authorized personnel only. • Cut off power supply at circuit breaker/fuse before proceeding with the installation. • The convertion heater must be installed at a minimal distance of 6 inches (153 mm) between the floor and adjacent walls.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REMOVING THE UNIT FROM THE WALL BRACKET (Fig.C) 1.Pull the upper part of the unit toward you to disengage the hooks. 2.Put the unit up and then pull the unit off the lower hooks. Fig C This heater must be controlled by a thermostat. Please refer to thermostat installation instructions for connection.

    MAINTENANCE Cut off power supply at circuit breaker/fuse before cleaning the unit. Use a soft rag for dusting. When cleaning, use only a damp rag and non-abrasive dish soap. Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners because they may damage the finish. If the unit is used in a very dusty location, use a vacuum brush regularly to remove dust and other foreign objects from the grilles.

    WARRANTY Thank you for investing in a FACTO product. These products have been made to quality standards and are guaranteed for domestic use against manufacturing faults for a period of 1 year (10 years for heating element) from the date of purchase.

  • Page 18 INSTRUCTIONS D'INSTALLATION • Le mur où vous installez l'appareil doit être droit pour que le support soit installé parfaitement à plat, sans aucune pression. Il est très important de respecter cette directive afin que le support mural ne soit pas endommagé durant l’installation. Cela pourrait entraîner le dysfonctionnement du système d’enclenchement.

    CÂBLAGE Les fils d'alimentation doivent être raccordés de la façon prescrite par les codes en vigueur. Le fil dénudé (mise à la terre) doit être raccordé à la vis verte. Les fils provenant du panneau électrique doivent être également raccordés aux fils d'alimentation de l'appareil avec des connecteurs.

    ENTRETIEN Coupez l'alimentation électrique au disjoncteur/fusible avant de nettoyer l'appareil. Dépoussiérez le convecteur à l'aide d'un chiffon doux. Nettoyez-le uniquement avec un chiffon humide et du savon à vaisselle non abrasif. N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs, car ils pourraient abîmer le revêtement.
