Observe the mains voltage: The voltage of the power source must agree with the value given on the nameplate of the unit. Extension cords must have a
conductor cross section of 2×1.5mm2 min.
Switching on: Set the switch to I or II, according to the application.
Switching off: Set the switch to 0.

Maintenance and cleaning

- Before any work on the unit itself, pull the power plug.
- For safe and efficient working, always keep the unit and its ventilations slots clean.
- If the unit should fail despite the care taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be carried out by an authorized customer service agent for power tools.

Environmental protection

The appliance and accessories should be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. Do not
dispose of the appliance with household waste, as unsorted municipal waste. Use instead sep-
arate collection facilities. Support environmental protection by taking the appliance to a local
collection point or obtain information from a specialist retailer. Contact you local government
for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of
in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food
chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the
retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
