Alarm function
Setting the Alarm
• Press the ALARM SET button (4).
• The alarm time flashes.
• Set the desired alarm time using the control dial (5).
• Press the ALARM SET key (4) to save the alarm time.
To activate / deactivate the alarm
• Press the ALARM ON/OFF (2) button to activate or deactivate the alarm function.
• When the alarm function is activated, the alarm icon appears on the
the display.
Stopping the alarm signal
• When the alarm signal sounds, press the ALARM ON/OFF button (2) to stop the
alarm signal.
• The alarm function must be activated again for the following day.
Snooze Function
• When the alarm signal sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (1) to activate the
snooze function.
• After about five minutes the alarm signal will sound again.
• The symbol "Zz" flashes in the display during this time.
The snooze function can be repeated up to six times.
The alarm signal sounds for a duration of one minute.
Display light
• The display light can be activated by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (1).
• The display light switches off automatically after about five seconds. The light dura-
tion lasts for another five seconds if any button is pressed.

Troubleshooting

By purchasing this quartz alarm clock, you have acquired a product that has been
designed to the state of the art and is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems
or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults.
The display shows confused symbols or nothing is displayed at all:
• Press the RESET button (6) with a sharp object (e.g. a straightened paper clip). The
built-in microprocessor is reset and the clock resumes operation.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Do not press on the sensitive display surface.
Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable material and must not be disposed of in
the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
Remove the batteries that may be inserted and dispose of them separately
from the product.

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled
with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste
is forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official
collection points in your municipality, our stores, or where ever (recharge-
able) batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
