Switching on and off

4.1

Switching on the instrument

1 Ensure that all components are connected to the power supply.
2 Switch on the external laser module. The key switch is located on the laser module, refer to manufacturer
documentation.
3 Switch on the UltraMicroscope Blaze™ Imaging System. The power switch is located on the rear side of the
instrument (Figure 2.2).
4 Switch on the workstation PC and log on to Windows system with your user credentials.
5 Start the ImSpector software by double clicking on the program icon. The switched on devices are
registered and checked.
4.2

Switching off the instrument

1 Close the ImSpector software.
2 Shut down Windows system.
3 Switch off the UltraMicroscope Blaze™ Imaging System. The power switch is located on the rear side of the
instrument (Figure 2.2).
4 Switch off the external laser module. The key switch is located on the laser module, refer to manufacturer
documentation.
5 Disconnect the camera from the power supply.
