Connecting and charging

The toothbrush is electrically safe and can
be used in the bathroom without hesitation.
• Plug the charging unit into an electrical
outlet. Place the handle on the charging
unit.
• A full charge takes 16 hours and will
provide an operation time of approx.
45 minutes.
• For everyday use, the handle can be
stored on the plugged-in charging unit
to maintain the toothbrush at full power.
Overcharging is impossible.
Battery maintenance
To maintain the maximum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, unplug the charging
unit and discharge the handle by regular
use at least every 6 months.

Operating the switch

Press the switch (B) to operate the
appliance, press again to stop it.
The XT models additionally feature a
reduced speed setting for sensitive areas
of the mouth (see fig. I):
a) Press switch (B) to operate the tooth-
brush at normal speed,
b) press a second time to operate with
reduced speed,
c) press a third time to turn off the handle.

Using the toothbrush

The toothbrush can be used with any
leading brand of toothpaste.
• To avoid splashing, guide the brushhead
to your teeth before switching the
appliance on.
• Slowly guide the brushhead from tooth
to tooth, spending a few seconds on each
tooth surface.
• Brush the gums as well as the teeth,
first the outsides, then the insides and
finally the chewing surfaces.
• Do not press too hard or scrub, simply
let the brush do all the work.
• To thoroughly remove plaque, brush for
at least two minutes.
Pressure sensor
For safety and optimum brushing results,
the toothbrush has a pressure control
system:
If too much pressure is applied, the
oscillating movement of the brushhead
will continue, but the pulsation will stop.
There is a noticeable change in feeling
and sound when the pressure sensor is
activated.
Memory timer
An incorporated timer memorizes the
elapsed brushing time, even when the
handle is briefly switched off (max.
30 seconds). After two minutes – which
is the minimum recommended brushing
time – the timer signals by a short stutter.
During the first days of using the tooth-
brush, your gums may bleed slightly.
In general, bleeding should stop after a few
days. Should it persist after two weeks,
please consult your dentist or hygienist.

The manual provides information in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. However, Croatian is not included. This may be because the product is not marketed or officially supported in Croatian-speaking regions, or because there was no demand for a Croatian translation at the time of publication.
