Interchangeable position of air supply

Both in the indoor air circuit as well as the outdoor circuit, the supply fan
can be located in either of the two positions indicated in the following
illustration, since both panels are easily interchangeable. This allow
to place it on-site in accordance with the installation requirements.
Interchangeable panels
This fan relocation involves changing the position both the outlet
probe and belt and pulley of motor and fan; so these components are
accessible in the new location.
To change the position of the fan is necessary to keep to the following
procedure:
- First of all, remove the machine cover, attached to it using self-drilling
screws M4,8.
- Then, dismantle the holder
of the outlet probe, fastened
to the volute with 2 rivets.
Rivets
- The motorised fan unit can be released from the machine base
unscrewing the 4 rivet nuts M8.
- Remove the motorised fan unit together with the panel. This panel is
attached to pillars inside the machine, using 4 sheet-metal screws
Ø 3,5mm.
- With the motorised fan unit out of the machine, dismantle the belt and
the fan pulley.
- After that, remove the motor by unscrewing the 2 fi xation bolts of
the motor feet (one on each side of the motor). Turn the motor 180
degrees and reassemble it on the fan. The change of the position
of the pulleys is done to facilitate access in the new location.
- The fan pulley and the belt must be placed on the same side as the
motor pulley.
- Mount the panel and the motorised fan unit in its new location.

- Fix the motorised fan unit to the machine base using the 4 rivet nuts
M8.

Important: for the pulleys adjustment, follow the same procedure as
the one described in the preceding section "Checks at centrifugal fans".

- Finally, re-assembly the holder of the outlet probe on the fan volute.
