1. General Information:

This digital multimeter is designed and manufactured in compliance with
IEC-61010 safety requirements on electronic measuring instruments and
hand-held digital multimeter. It is compliant with IEC-61010 requirements
pertaining to CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V and requirements on pollution
degree 2. Please read carefully this operation manual and pay attention to
safety guidelines before operating this meter.
1.1 Safety Information:

Before operating this meter, the operator must observe all standard
safety procedures in the two respects below:
A. Safety procedures against electric shock.
B. Safety procedures against unintended use.

To ensure your safety, please use the test lead included in the meter.
Before operating this meter, ensure that the test lead is functional.

1.1.2 Safety Warnings:


When the meter is used under strong electromagnetic interferences
surroundings, the reading on the meter will be unstable and even
might be great differences in error.

Do not operate the meter when the appearance of the meter or test
lead is damaged.

The protection system of the meter might not be activated if the
meter is not properly used.

Extra attention is required while using the meter near to exposed
conductor or bus line.

Using the meter under or near explosive gas, mist or dust is
prohibited.

The measurement must be used with correct input and functions
and within the allowable measuring range.

To prevent the meter from being damaged, do not exceed the limit of
each measuring range while using the meter.

When the meter is under measuring connection, please do not touch
any unused input socket.

When the measuring voltage has exceeded 60VDC or 30VAC
(effective value), please be careful of possible electric shock.

When using the meter with the test lead, place your fingers behind
its protective ring.

Before switching to another measuring range, please make sure that
the test lead has already been undetached.
