During the cooking process

For the best results, some foods need to be
stirred or gently shaken after half of the cooking
time has elapsed (see the "Cooking table").
M Take the cooking basket out of the appliance
by the handle during the cooking process.
The appliance stops immediately and all of
the icons on the display go out.
M Tilt and shake the cooking basket to move
its contents around a little.
M Place the cooking basket into the appliance
all the way. The appliance will switch back on
and will continue with the selected cooking
process.
The appliance does not beep to inform
you that half of the cooking time has
elapsed! To ensure you remember to shake the
contents of the basket, we recommend setting
the appliance to just half of the total cooking
time at first and then setting it to half of the
total cooking after shaking the contents of the
cooking basket.
Pause and resume the cooking process
You can pause the cooking process at any time.

WARNING – risk of burns
• When you take the cooking basket out of the
appliance, some steam may escape. Keep
your hands and face away from it.
10. Remove the cooking basket from the
appliance using the handle and check how
cooked the contents are. Then place the
cooking basket onto a suitable, heat-resistant
surface.
M If the food is not cooked as thoroughly
as you would like, slide the cooking basket
back into the appliance and programme the
appliance to cook the food for a further few
minutes.
11. Once the food is cooked to your liking,
carefully remove it from the cooking basket
using a suitable utensil (made of wood,
silicone or plastic).
Do not use any utensils made of metal so
as to avoid damaging the non-stick coating
of the cooking basket and sieve insert!
Do not pour the food from the cooking
basket directly into another container!
This helps to ensure that no oil residue
in the cooking basket beneath the sieve
insert is poured out along with the food.
12. If you wish to cook another portion of food,
fill the basket with the food you wish to cook
and start a new cooking process.
