Instructions
1.
The load test is carried out by pumping the hydraulic jack (2) with the plug-in lever (3).
Note:
The valve (4) of the jack (2) must be closed.
To close the valve (4), rotate clockwise.
The pumping motion of the spring holder can be read off the digital height meter.

The plunger (9) can be adjusted using the locking pin (8) to suit the gas spring length, in 16 positions in 31.5 mm increments.
3.
Position the spring holder (1) in the lower position by opening the valve (4) and close the valve (4) again.
4.
Put the plunger ( 9 ) at the approximate height of the gas spring to be tested.
Withdraw locking pin (8), position the plunger (9) and secure again with the locking pin (8).
5.
Place the gas spring in the middle of the spring holder (1).
6.
Adjust jack (2) using lever (3) to so that it contacts the gas spring and set the travel indicator (10) to "0" (zero).
7.
Compress gas spring approximately 2 mm and read off the force.
Maximum value display mode
8.
Simultaneously press "on/off" button and "Zer0" on digital meter.
"Peak" will appear briefly in the display.
In this display mode the meter displays the maximum force until the "Zer0" key is pressed.
9.
At the end of the test, press the "lb/kg" and "Zer0" keys again simultaneously.
The display confirms with "nor".
Note:
After switching on with the "on/off" switch the meter operates in the normal mode
(not the maximum value mode).
