Trouble Shooting

Error codes will be displayed when a problem occurs. The most
common error codes and recommended solution are listed in the table
with other common problems and solutions. ALL error codes can be
found at www.wilson.com/baiardo along with advance service and
trouble shooting solutions.
Many error codes can be solved by turning off the machine,
check connections and restarting.
PROBLEM
SOLUTIONS
Check that machine is plugged into wall outlet
Check that power supply is fully connected and LED on power
Baiardo
®
will not turn on
supply is solid green
Remove electronics box and check that all 3 connections are made
Power supply LED is off or
The power supply has a short circuit or is dead
fl ashing green
Call dealer for a new power supply
Baiardo
®
is running in the
Reset language (see page 5)
wrong language
Check that there is a good connection between bottom
and top of machine (2 wires)
"Manual mode" is displayed
Remove electronics box and check that all 3 connections are made
at start up
If machine was stored in extreme cold, allow several hours for machine
to warm to room temperature
Touch screen appears dark/hard
Touch screen to activate backlight. This is an energy saving feature
to read.
The puller will only activate when the main stringing screen is displayed
Puller head does not move when
activator switch is pressed
Check that the wire on bottom of puller is connected (see page 33)
Move the machine to level surface

is not stable
Adjust leveling screws in fl oor plate
Adjust clamp (see page 8)
String slips through clamp teeth
Clean inner surface of clamp to remove build-up of lubrication from string

Adjust puller (see page 9)
String slips through puller
Clean inner surface of puller to remove build-up of lubrication from string
Adjust clamp base (see page 8)
Clamp base slips on glide rail
Clean glide rail
when "locked"
Remove clamp base from glide rail (see page 32) and clean brass plug
that normally sits below glide rail
Check that string is not slipping through clamps
String tension seems lower
than normal
Calibrate machine (see page 26)
String seems tighter than normal
Calibrate machine
This is normal on some multifi lament strings.
Clean and adjust clamps to slightest pressure that still grabs string
Clamps leave white marks
on string
Be sure to adjust clamps for different diameters of string
The hex key set is lost
The hex keys are standard metric set and can be purchased at any tool shop
The cord from the power brick to the wall is a standard cord used
on many electronics devices such as computers, projectors, etc.
The power cord is lost
A replacement can be found at many electronics stores
Touch screen glass is cracked
The machine can be run from the buttons above and below the touch screen
or broken and will not work
Turn off the machine, wait several minutes and restart
Turn off. Check all connections from base to top (2 wires). Remove ECU
box and check all connections (3 wires), replace electronics box and restart
An error code is displayed
on the screen
Go to www.wilson.com/baiardo where all error codes are listed
Call Wilson. Be sure to have noted the number of the error code
