    5.1 START UP The User Interface Start Up Touch screen is the primary method for operating Baiardo ® The red Power switch is located on the right underside of the machine. DO NOT lean on machine during start up and diagnostics.

    6.4 ADJUSTMENTS CLAMPS AND CLAMP BASES ADJUSTING THE PULLER HEAD The inner surface of the clamp is coated with diamond dust. The adjustment screw can increase or decrease the pressure Only slight pressure on the string is needed on the string in the puller head. Use this adjustment for different string diameters.

    7.1 OPERATING THE MACHINE FRICTION BRAKE Operating the Machine Engage friction brake during B.E.S.T.™ stringing for appropriate turn table movement. HOME SCREEN It should always be engaged during B.E.S.T.™ mode. The fi rst screen that is displayed after diagnostics is the Home Screen. This screen gives you four options.

    7.5 OWNER’S OPTIONS REMOVE STRINGER OWNER’S OPTIONS SCREEN The owner’s screen is password protected. Select which stringer you would like to have removed, and select the check mark to confi rm. The factory set password is: “ABCD”. Once the password is input, select the check mark. CHANGE PASSWORD Enter the password you prefer, and select the check mark to save.

    9.1 SERVICE MAINTENANCE SERVICE REPLACING THE ELECTRONICS BOX CLEANING THE CL A MP TEETH If the electronics box becomes defective, it can easily be removed and replaced. Soak an old toothbrush, or old shoelace in rubbing alcohol. Run the cleaning utensil through the clamp teeth. Allow to dry.
