PROBLEMS
5.1. IF THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT
WORKING
5.2. TEMPERATURE OF DISPLAY
AREA IS NOT LOW ENOUGH
(THE ICE CREAM IS TOO SOFT)
PROBABLE CAUSE
There is no current:
Compressor may be turned OFF:
Tension/Voltage is too low:
Thermostat is set too high.
Evaporator is blocked with ice
Condenser is blocked with dust
One of the fans is not working
Leakage of gas
Showcase is exposed to direct sunlight
POSSIBLE REMEDIES
Check if the showcase is connected to
power,
Check the electricity system of the
place where the showcase is placed.
Check the ON/OFF button on the
control panel
Check the tension with a Voltmeter. In
order to work properly, tension must
not be 10% more or less than what is
written on the showcase. (It must not
be more than 242V and less than
198V).
If the temperature set on the
thermostat is higher than the already
existing temperature inside the
showcase, compressor does NOT
work.
Press the "defrost" button situated on
the control panel. Check the
evaporators after the defrost cycle, if it
is still blocked with ice, take out the
pans and place them in a deep-freezer
and turn off the compressor at night
time. DO NOT UNPLUG IT!
Disconnect the power. Remove the
back grill. Clean the condenser with a
brush and/or vacuum cleaner as shown
in
FIGURE 3.2.B
Remove drawer , check the fans.

If any of them is not working call
Technical Assistance.
Call Technical Assistance. Ask them
the cause of leakage. Fill up with the
quantity and quality of gas indicated
on the label at the back of the case.
Change the place of the showcase.
