The config-reg 0x2102 command, with the hexadecimal value 0x2102, results in the following:

Using Flash Memory

The Flash memory (PC Card) slots on the front panel of the RSP8 support PC Card-based Flash memory
media for your system. You can use this Flash memory to store and run IOS software images, or as a file
server for other routers to access as clients. The Flash memory media is either Flash memory cards or
Flash Disks.
A complete discussion of PC Card-based Flash memory is beyond the scope of this publication. For
