2. If necessary, lower the windows, unlock the doors and open the tail gate as required,
before disconnecting the 12 Volt battery. Once the 12 Volt battery is disconnected,
power controls will not operate. (Refer to below "5. – a" for 12 Volt battery disconnection
3. Before disconnecting the 12 Volt battery, remove the Smart Key at least 2 meters
away from the vehicle to prevent accidental restart.
4. In case of emergency, disconnect or cut the service interlock connector cable to
isolate the high voltage of the battery.
