CAUTION
Locate the unit at the proper counter height,
in an area that is convenient for use. The location
should be level to prevent the unit or its contents
from accidentally falling, and strong enough to
support the weight of the unit and food displayed.
CAUTION
Some exterior surfaces on the unit will get hot. Use
caution when touching these areas to avoid injury.
1. Plug unit into a properly grounded electrical outlet
of the correct voltage, size and plug configuration.
See SPECIFICATIONS for details.
2. Place the On/Off rocker switch in the ON position.
The incandescent lights and upper infrared heat are
controlled by the rocker switch. The rocker switch
must be in the ON position when in use.
See Figure 5.
3. The stainless steel base heat is regulated by a preset
electronic temperature controller set for 200° F.
See Figure 5.
If an adjustment is required remove the protective
cover and follow these steps:
A. To set temperature, turn Mode Switch
counterclockwise to the "SP-1" position.
See Figure 6.
B. Using a small screwdriver turn the setpoint
screw until the desired temperature setting
is indicated.
NOTE: Electronic temperature controller is adjustable
from room temperature to 220°F.
C. Turn Mode Switch clockwise to "TEMP"
position.
D. Allow 20-30 minutes for the temperature
to adjust.
4. The center heated glass shelf temperature is
controlled by an electronic thermostat. See Figure 5.
If an adjustment is required remove the protective
cover and rotate the control knob to the desired
setting. Allow 20-30 minutes for the temperature
to reach the desired level.
NOTE: Glass shelf is operating properly when
"red light" is lit. Contact your Authorized Service
Agent, or contact the Hatco Service Department at
800-558-0607 or 414-671-6350 if unit is turned
on and "red light" is off.

Do not allow the glass shelf to overheat. Overheating
may cause the food containers to melt or soften.
Do not place food directly on glass or stainless steel
surfaces. Food product must be wrapped or boxed.
