The binary outputs can be configured either as pulse- or persistent-type outputs. Pulse-
type outputs are triggered with the write value "ON". Persistent-type outputs can be
written with both values "ON" and "OFF". The setting mode "toggled" for local
operation corresponds to "persistent" for remote operation.
