Operation

❐ Keep all parts of your body away from the cutting blade on the
bottom of the device. Do not attempt to hold the material being
cut while the blade is rotating.
❐ Wear safety goggles.
❐ Carry the trimmer by the handle when the blade is idle.
❐ Do not use the device to trim any wet plants or plants with
branches thicker than 6 mm in order to prevent the blade from
jamming.
❐ Attention! The maximum sound power level of this device is
92 dB (A). Wear an appropriate ear protection!
❐ For your safety wear a mask.
Note: This device runs with an integrated (electrical) motor brake for your
convenience and safety. It ensures that the cutting unit immediately stops when the
switches are released.

3. Ensure that the collecting hose does not twist and that the green
line along the hose runs straight to the collecting bag.
4. Fasten the carrying strap (14) using the clasps on the collect-
ing bag. You can slip the strap over your shoulder or buckle it
around your hips. By pulling the strap through the loops, you can
change its length.
1. In order to activate the device, push the safety lock (13)
forward. This will release the main switch (7). Depress the main
switch (7). After you have pressed the main switch, you can
release the safety lock.
As soon as you release the main switch, the device deactivates

and the main switch is again blocked.
2. Move the device evenly over the hedge and back and forth along
its sides until you have shaped the hedge as desired.
