Safe Exit Warning settings

Exit Safety
With the engine on, select 'Driver As-
sistance → Driving Safety → Exit Safety'
from the Settings menu to turn on Safe
Exit Warning and deselect to turn off the
function.
WARNING
The driver should always be aware of
the surroundings. If 'Safe Exit Warning
(SEW)' is deselected, Safe Exit Warning
cannot assist you.
Information
If the engine is restarted, Safe Exit Warn-
ing will maintain the last setting.
Warning Volume
With the engine on, select 'Driver Assis-

tance → Warning volume' from the Set-
tings menu to change the Warning Vol-
ume to 'High', 'Medium'or 'Low' for Safe
Exit Warning.
If you change the Warning Volume, the
Warning Volume of other Driver Assis-
tance systems may change.
CAUTION
The setting of Warning Volume applies
to all functions of the Safe Exit Warning.
