3. Set the igniter to position II (high temperature) and touch the charcoal
until it starts to glow red hot (Fig. 3).
* Ideally, start the fire where several pieces of charcoal come together.
* If you want to grill at a high temperature, create multiple ignition points
so that the fire will immediately reach high temperatures.
* If you want to grill at lower temperatures (low & slow), light only one
single ignition point so that the charcoal burns gradually and at a lower
temperature.
