Programme/type of laundry/information
÷ Drum Clean
The cleaning programme, combined with an active oxygen phase
followed by a washing programme, thoroughly cleans and cares
for the drum and outer tub, and eliminates odours.
Run the programme, e.g.:
before using the appliance for the first time,

if you regularly wash at low temperatures (40 °C or lower) or
■
if there are odours due to a long absence.

Notes
The ÷ Drum Clean indicator lamp flashes when you use
■
have not used a programme at 60 °C or higher for a long
time.
Run the programme without laundry.
■
Use washing powder or a detergent containing bleach. To
■
prevent foaming, only use half the amount of detergent rec-
ommended by the detergent manufacturer. Do not use deter-
gent designed for woollens or delicates.
ö Hygiene Mix
Mixed load of cottons, synthetic fabrics, silk, satin;
The washing programme, combined with an active oxygen laun-
dry treatment followed by a washing programme, is particularly
suitable for delicate fabrics with high hygiene requirements.
g Outdoor / Water proofing
Wash cycle followed by waterproofing of membrane-coated
weatherproof and outdoor clothing or water-resistant fabrics
Select a programme.

with the manufacturer's instructions.
Notes
Use a special detergent suitable for machine washing and

dose in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions:
Laundry must not be treated with fabric softener.

Before washing, clean the detergent drawer thoroughly (all
■
compartments) to remove fabric softener residue.
