SHIELD ASSEMBLY
Before installing gearbox shields, check lubricant level in gearbox. Refer to Maintenance Section - Gearbox.
Attach the safety shield assembly (1) to the front of the gearbox (2) making sure the inspection cover (3) is to
the side. Place the shield over the gearbox shaft. Place the four M8 capscrew (4), four M8 lockwasher
(6), and four M8 flatwashers (5) through the slotted holes in the safety shield assembly with the flatwashers
between the slot and the lockwasher, Center the shield on the gearbox shaft and tighten.
