BEFORE FIRST USE

The first time that you use the toaster, use it without bread. This will pre-heat
the new element and burn off any dust collected during the storage process. If
your toaster is not plugged in and switched on, the control lever will not lock in
the down position.
HOW TO USE YOUR TOASTER
1. Only connect the unit to a properly installed and earthed power socket.
2. To select the required toasting level, turn the selector clockwise from the
lightest level (1) to the darkest level (7). If you are not sure of the level, start
at a low level and increase as you become more familiar with the appliance.
3. Insert one slice of bread per slot and lower the slot with the lever until it
snaps into place.
4. The unit will toast the bread and will switch off automatically once the
bread is toasted. The toast will pop up automatically.
5. Allow the unit to cool down before you put it away.
