1 Megalink second monitor display kit

1.1 Introduction

This document describes how to use a compatible television set as a Megalink second display.

1.2 Overview

1.3 Components

Included in kit:
• USB network adapter
• Display device
• SD card with predefined ID
• HDMI cable
• USB cable (power)

1.4 Monitor requirements

The monitor must meet the following requirements:
• Type DU3 (Color monitor)
• Software version 13.49 or later. (Firmware 02.17). Updated software can be
downloaded from www.megalink.no.

1.5 Television set requirements

The television set must have the following:
• Full HD
• HDMI input
• USB in/out (Optional. External USB micro power source can be used.)

  • Page 3 3. Power up the device. Use the television USB as power source. External power can be used. DC 5.0V / 700mA. 4. Wait for the Megalink logo to appear on the screen. 5. Shut down the device by simply remove the power source.
  • Page 4 If you need to change the ID on the SD card you can do the following: 1. Insert the SD card to a SD card reader connected to the computer. 2. Download MLSetPiIp.zip from www.megalink.no/download. 3. Unzip the file and start the application MLSetPiIp.exe.
