Accessing the Bandwidth Extension dialog 1 Welcome to the Bandwidth Extension option The R&S SMW-K555 option Bandwidth Extension is a firmware application that allows extension of the modulation bandwidth to up to 4 GHz. A practical approach is to superimpose RF signals with center frequencies close to each other. The bandwidths of the modulated base- band signal overlap.
