Maintenance after 100 operating hours / longer downtime

Danger of life or injury due to a machine in operation!
Due to a machine in operation, there is a risk of life or injury, as well as a risk of
damage to the machine or plant!
Before maintenance work, the machine must be disconnected from the
power supply and secured against re-entry.
The planning, execution and documentation of audits must be carried out in
accordance with the applicable regulations and laws.
In order to ensure safe operation of the machine, the safety devices must be
tested:
Lubrication points
Staff:
Private and commercial operators
Protective equipment:
Occupational health and safety clothing
Protective gloves
Protective goggles
Remove fan housings after 100 operating hours or at least once a year -
preferably before the season - and clean the cooling fins as well as the guide
plates, cooling air sieve and oil cooler necessary for air circulation.
Cleaning the spark plug from soot deposits by means of a wire brush
followed by checking the electrode distance. The electrode spacing should
be about 1 mm. Renew spark plugs after 200 hours of operation.
