3. CLINICIAN MENU

3.1 Accessing the Clinician Menu

The Clinician Menu consists of other settings that are hidden from the Patient Menu. To enter the Clinician Menu, follow the
instructions below:
1. P ress and hold the button in the middle of the SmartDial, and use your other hand to turn the SmartDial in a clockwise
direction to 180°. Do not release the SmartDial button while turning.
2. You can now release the SmartDial button.
NOTE: The Clinician Menu will default back to the Patient Menu after 30 seconds, or if the unit is turned off at the power supply.

The healthcare provider will have automatic access to all of the settings below once they have entered the Clinician Menu.

3.2 Pressure Mode

In this menu, the Pressure Mode can be changed from CPAP to AUTO in device models with this feature (ICON Auto only).

3.3 Set Pressure

This setting allows the prescribed pressure to be set, whether it is for fixed or auto-adjusting pressure parameters.

3.4 Menu Level

In this setting you can choose to allow or to restrict some of the features available in the Patient Menu. There are two levels,
Simple Mode (Level 1) and Advanced Mode (Level 2).

• C PAP Fixed Pressure: The device has a default fixed pressure setting of 10 cmH
adjusted within the range of 4 to 20 cmH
• M inimum Pressure: For device models with the auto-adjusting pressure feature, the minimum
default setting is 4 cmH

• M aximum Pressure: For device models with the auto-adjusting pressure feature,
the maximum default setting is 18 cmH

Simple Mode
In this menu patients can perform functions that are outlined in Section 1, Part 2 of the Use and
Care Manual. This includes turning the device on and off and adjusting the humidity. Basic sleep
data can be viewed on the Display Screen by holding down the SmartDial for 7 seconds.
Advanced Mode
In this menu patients can perform functions that are outlined in Section 1, Part 2 of the Use and
Care Manual. This includes adjusting the humidity, clock and alarm functions, altitude adjustment
(for models without Automatic Altitude adjustment) and additional sleep data such as AHI, leak,
90% pressure and SensAwake statistics.
