4.3 High Level Disinfection

The Chamber Lid, Water Chamber, Breathing Tube, Elbow, Outlet Seal and Air Filter are all supplied as replacement parts (refer
to Section 6 for Reorder numbers). Apart from the Air Filter, these parts may be disinfected (High-Level Disinfection) for use with
other patients as follows:
• T he Water Chamber can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher, pasteurized at 70 °C for 30 minutes, or disinfected by soaking
in Cidex OPA for 30 minutes at 20 °C
• T he Chamber Lid and Heated Breathing Tube can be disinfected by pasteurizing at 70 °C for 30 minutes or soaked in CIDEX
OPA for 30 minutes at 20 °C
• T he Elbow and Outlet Seal can be disinfected by pasteurizing at 70 °C for 30 minutes, or soaking in Cidex OPA for 30 minutes
at 20 °C
NOTE: These parts are validated for 20 re-processing cycles.

5. SLEEP DATA REPORTING

The retrieval of compliance data is available in a range of solutions to suit different patient needs. Refer to the InfoSmart™
Operating Manual for more details about reporting options.
• I nfoView™: The patient can relay their CPAP progress over the telephone from the Sleep Data setting in the Patient Menu
(refer to Use and Care Manual, Section 1, Part 2). Each of the figures can be verified using InfoSmart software.
• T he InfoUSB 2 (stored in the USB Port) records sleep data from the internal memory of the device, and this data can be
transferred to a report format using InfoSmart software. The following data is recorded in InfoSmart reports:
i. 7 days' detailed efficacy data (including AHI, Pressure and Leak)
ii. Customizable summary data up to 12 months
iii. Cumulative summary data from first use
iv. A choice of 30, 60, 90 or 180 days' summary data via a quick link
• I nfoUSB 2 Application*: With InfoSmart Web and the InfoUSB 2 application, patients will have the ability to send CPAP data
and receive remote prescription changes via the Internet. InfoSmart Web has built in customizable automated telephone,
email and text messages that can be set to remind the patient to complete the data transfer in a timely manner.
NOTE: Only use an InfoUSB designed for use with the F&P ICON+. Use of any other USB drives may cause data corruption or
damage to the casing of the device.
