4.5 Setting the transmission frequencies

for the four receiver sections

Make sure that the corresponding transmitters
(wireless microphones/pocket transmitters) are
switched off and then set the receiver to an in-
terference-free transmission frequency There are
different methods to do this:
1 The transmission frequency can be adjusted
manually between 506 000 MHz and 542 000
MHz (chapter 4 5 1)
2 For operating multiple transmitters at the same
time (chapter 4 5 2), there are 6 groups with
up to 22 channels in each group (see overview
on page 27) In ideal conditions, all channels
of a group can be used for audio transmissions
at the same time
The scan function can be used to deter-
mine the channels being used for transmission
by other systems (chapter 4 5 3) These chan-
nels will be skipped during channel selection
3 Preferred frequencies can also be saved to six
user-defined frequency groups (chapter 4 5 4),
e g for operation in varying locations
4.5.1 Setting the frequency manually
1) The setting menu for the receiver section can
be called up in two ways:
1 Press the button SEL (12) of the receiver sec-
tion desired (on the display, the field of the
receiver section is highlighted); then keep
the button SETUP (6) pressed until the menu
(fig 11) is shown
2 Keep the button SETUP pressed until the
menu with the line
is shown Use the button PUSH / CON-
TROL  (7) to select the receiver section
CH1 – CH4 and then press the button to
call up the setting menu
