Making calls from the Phone Directory

Tips
• You may press (TALK) to make a call instead of doing steps 3 and 4.
• If you follow the procedure above with the handset on the base unit, you can
hear the other party through the base unit speaker (On-hook dialing, see page
15). To talk with the party, pick up the handset.
About the search order
The names appear in the following order when you press 4 or $.
N Press 4
TOP OF LIST ˜ ABC...XYZ ˜ symbols* ˜ * ˜ # ˜ 0 - 9˜ END OF LIST
* Symbols appear only when you stored the number having the symbol from
the Caller ID list.

Press (ENTER).
"DIRECTORY" appears on the
display.

Press $ to display the name you
want to call.
The names appear in
alphabetical order.

Press (ENTER).
DIAL PGM ERASE

Press (ENTER) again.
The phone number will be
dialed.
