Adjusting Downstop (FIG 5)
The downstop should be adjusted so that maximum cutting
capacity is maintained and so that the cut off wheel does not
hit the tool base or the surface which the tool is mounted to.
1. Lower cutting head until the arm hits the downstop.
2. Turn wheel by hand to verify maximum cutting capacity. The
cut-off wheel must not contact any part of the base.
3. If contact occurs, loosen the jam nut (2) and adjust downstop
bolt (1) up and down until the problem is solved. Tighten the
jam nut.

BEFORE USIng THE TOOL

1. Make sure the power source is appropriate for the tool. To prevent overheating, accidental
stopping or intermittent operation, confirm that the power cord plug fits properly in the electrical
receptacle and does not fall out after it is inserted. Repair or replace the receptacle if it is faulty.
WARnIng:
power source is of the same voltage as that specified on the nameplate of
the tool. never connect this power tool to a DC power source.
2. Check the cut-off wheel for visible defects. Confirm that the cut-off wheel is free of cracks or
other visible damage. Inspect the rotation stability of the wheel.
3. Confirm that the cut-off wheel is fixed securely to the power tool. using the supplied wrench,
tighten the clamping bolt on the mounting shaft to secure the wheel.
4. Check the blade guard for proper operation. The guard is designed to protect the operator from
coming into contact with the cut-off wheel during operation of the tool. Always check that the
blade guard moves smoothly and covers the cut-off wheel properly.
5. Confirm the position of the spindle lock before using the tool. After installing the cut-off wheel,
confirm that the spindle lock has been returned to the retract position before using the tool.
WARnIng:
6. Securely clamp the cutting material. ensure that the material is securely fastened with the vise. If
it is not, a serious accident could be caused if the material comes loose or the saw blade breaks
during operation.
7. Make a trial run: after confirming that no one is standing behind the tool, start and confirm that no
operating abnormalities exist before attempting a cutting operation.

Switch Action (FIG 6)
your saw is equipped with a trigger switch with Lock-off feature, which provides extra safety to avoid
accidental start.
To turn on the tool, depress and hold lock-off button (2), then squeeze the trigger switch (1) .
After the tool starts, you may release the lock-off button. The tool will keeping running as long as you
continue to hold the trigger switch.
