CAUTION! Danger of cuts! Nev-
er move the saw blade guard (5) by
hand. Loosen the locking screw (8) of
the saw blade guard.
2. Raise or lower the saw blade guard by
turning the height adjustment (7). Direc-
tion of rotation as seen from behind:
⭮ raising
⭯ lowering
3. Tighten the retaining screw
Tilting the saw table
You can turn the locking handle (16) inde-
pendently of the screw by pulling the lock-
ing handle away from the frame (11).
1. Loosen the locking handle (16) and
the handle screw (14).
2. Tilt the saw table (6). The angle scale
(15) shows the inclination.
3. Tighten the locking handle and the
handle screw.
Opening the housing door
WARNING! Remove the mains plug
from the socket before opening the hous-
ing door.
1. Turn the door lock (4) ⭯.
After a maximum of 2 rotations, the
housing door (2) opens slightly. The
safety switches interrupt the power
circuit.
2. Turn the door lock further ⭯ until you
can open the housing door.
Closing the housing door
1. Press and hold the housing door (2)
against the frame (11).
2. Turn the door lock (4) ⭯.

5 Saw blade guard
• Should be as low as possible when
sawing.
• Protects the hands while sawing.
• Prevents body parts or objects from be-
ing pulled in by the band saw blade.
25+26 Safety lock
• Consists of a pin (25) on the housing
door and a safety switch (26) on the
frame.
• Switches the machine off immediately if
a housing door is opened during oper-
ation.
• Prevents body parts or objects from be-
ing pulled in by the band saw blade or
wheels.
Checking the machine before
operation
Check the machine carefully before each
use.
WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Do not insert the plug
into the socket until the machine is fully
prepared for use.
Checking and adjusting the tension
of the band saw blade
The correct tension of the band saw blade
is crucial for the functioning and safety of
the machine. If the tension is too high, the
band saw blade may break. If the tension
is too low, the band saw blade may stop.
1. Use hand protection.
2. Raise the saw blade guard (5) up as
far as possible.
