Status Light Condition
OFF Gas control/thermostat turned off
Pilot burner not lit
Power supply insufficient
Constantly lit Pilot light recently extinguished and thermopile
cooling
Gas control/thermostat knob recently turned off
1 blink Normal
every 3 seconds Gas control/thermostat knob in pilot position and
pilot burner lit
2 blinks Low thermopile power, but pilot burner is lit
every 3 seconds
4 blinks High water temperature limit reached
every 3 seconds
5 blinks Water temperature sensor failed
every 3 seconds
7 blinks Gas control/thermostat failed
every 3 seconds
8 blinks Faulty pilot flame signal
every 3 seconds
9 blinks every 3 Defective door thermistor
seconds
10 blinks every 3 Chamber has exceded maximum temperature
seconds and system has shut down

Action
Follow instructions in Lighting and Shutdown, page 7,
to turn on the gas control/thermostat.
Follow instructions in Lighting and Shutdown, page 7,
to light the pilot burner.
Confirm that the thermopile wire connectors are firmly
attached to the gas control/thermostat.
Inspect thermopile wires and replace if damaged.
Inspect pilot light assembly.
Follow instructions in Lighting and Shutdown, page 7,
to light the pilot burner.
Turn gas control/thermostat knob to desired setting.
Confirm that the thermopile wire connectors are firmly
attached to the gas control/thermostat.
If fault still occurs, call a qualified service technician.

Pilot light is out. Wait 10 minutes and attempt to
