About this manual
Before using the appliance, carefully read the
safety instructions and the operating instructions.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place
for future reference. If the appliance is sold or passed
on, the operating instructions must be passed on to any
subsequent owner/user of the product.
General warnings
DANGER!
• Keep the tool dry, clean, free from oil, water, gas or
other materials that cause corrosion.
• Keep the work area clean and well lit.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
• This device is not intended for medical use or personal
examination.
• Keep bystanders and children away while operating the
appliance.
• Do not overreach, always ensure safe footing and
balance.
• Do not expose the unit to high temperatures. Use only
the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the
unit or batteries or throw them into a fire! Excessive
heat and improper handling can cause short circuits,
fires and even explosions!
NOTE!
Do not disassemble the unit! In case of a defect, contact
your specialist dealer. He will contact the Service Centre
and can send the unit in for repair if necessary.
Only use the recommended batteries. Always replace
weak or used batteries with a complete new set of
batteries with full capacity. Do not use batteries of
different brands, types or capacities. Remove batteries
from the unit if it is not going to be used for a long time!
PROTECTION of privacy!
The monocular is intended for private use. Respect
the privacy of your fellow human beings - do not
look into flats with this device, for example!

Device overview

Eyepiece and eyecup
Focus Knob
The eyepiece of the monocular is
usually permanently mounted in the
monocular. This means that the view and
magnification are fixed.
The focusing knob can be used to adjust
the distance between the eyepiece and
the objective.
