Questions and answers
Hi, Can you provide any further information on securing OPUS40 to ceiling in cleaner's c'brd … and venting through an insulated flat roof? Many thanks.
To secure the NuAire OPUS 40 to a ceiling in a cleanroom and vent it through an insulated flat roof:
1. Prepare an opening in the ceiling sized 327mm x 245mm, allowing 5–10mm clearance for fixing brackets.
2. Ensure the opening does not exceed 335mm x 253mm to remain covered by the front panel skirt.
3. Confirm a solid, non-vibrating ceiling location is selected, with duct passages and electrical supply ready.
4. Feed the supply cable through the casing entry hole.
5. Engage the outlet spigot with the ductwork leading to the insulated flat roof.
6. Fix the casing to the mounting frame securely.
Ensure compatible ductwork is installed and sealed for cleanroom use.
