HOW TO CONNECT
The SC-53 output cable separates the outputs to M ch and S ch.
Connection to Mixer incorporating MS Decoder
(For example: YAMAHA PM5D)
For more information visit
Connection to a Mixer not using an MS Decoder
• To derive the left and right
channel outputs from M-S
coincident microphone
sources, refer to the following
equations:
L ch : Sum of M and S
R ch : Difference between
M and S
• By connecting the outputs to
the mixer as shown, both M
and S signals can be decoded
as L ch. and R ch. The angle between L and R can also be varied by the
adjustment of the S ch. fader volume. When levels of M and S are the same,
the stereophonic angle is 127°.
Connection using Optional Matrix Converter MB-2D
DIRECTION
The front of the mic is shown with the logo. If
the CMS-2 is suspended from the ceiling, and
the microphone head (metal mesh) is aimed
downward, the L and R channels will be
reversed.
THE MICROPHONE HOLDER
(1) Remove attachment "A" with a
