If an accident happens with injuries or third parties are injured, carry out the first aid measures most suitable for the situation immediately and contact the medical authorities for any necessary health care.
General Safety Noise (Where Applicable) • The operating noise of the machine can damage your hearing. Wear hearing protection such as earplugs or ear defenders to protect your hearing. Long-term and regular users are advised to have hearing checked regularly. Be especially vigilant and cautious when wearing ear protection because your ability to hear alarm warnings will be reduced.
General Safety Battery Use And Care • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. • Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
General Safety Vibrations (Where Applicable) • Prolonged use of hand held (operated) machines will cause the user to feel the effects of/from vibrations. These vibrations can lead to white finger (Raynaud’s phenomenon) or carpal tunnel syndrome. This condition reduces the ability of the hand to feel and regulate temperature, causing numbness and heat sensations and may cause nerve damage and circulatory tissue death.

General Safety Getting To Know The Machine The HYM40Li330P is a battery powered lawnmower from HYUNDAI. The HYM40Li330P has a cutting width of 330mm and is powered by a 40V 2.5Ah Lithium-ion battery. The lawnmower is a garden tool and precisely a pedestrian controlled lawnmower. The machine is essentially composed of a battery which drives a blade enclosed in a casing, equipped with wheels and a handle.
Lay the contents out and check them. If any part is damaged or missing, you must not use the machine. Contact HYUNDAI Power Products immediately. You must keep the packaging material in case the machine needs to be returned or repaired.

Assembly 3. Place the upper handle on the lower handle. 4. Attach the upper handle. 5. Insert the threaded bolt through the holes in the upper handle and the lower handle. 6. Fasten the screw with the triangle knob.
Assembly Step 2 : Attach The Grass Collector 1. Lift the rear discharge guard up. 2. Hook the grass collector bar onto the rear of lawn mower. 3. Fold the rear discharge guard down and ensure it fits snuggly onto the grass collector lid. Step 3 : Insert The Mulching Plug (For Mulching Function) The mulching plug helps curve the inside of the mower deck for more efficient mulching.
Assembly Step 4 : Adjusting The Cutting Height The cutting height can be adjusted in 3 steps with the cutting height adjustment. 1. Pull the handle outwards slightly. 2. Set the required cutting height. 3. Release the lever again. Step 5 : Inserting / Replacing The Battery 1.

Lawn Care General Tips • Maintain a constant cutting height of 3-5cm. Do not shorten the grass to less than half its original height. • Under certain conditions, such as very tall grass, it may be necessary to raise the height of cut to reduce pushing effort, prevent overloading of the motor and leaving clumps of grass clippings.
