IN CAR POWER SUPPLY FOR AMPLIFIER
This PSU allows one to use a conventional amplifier or amplification module in
a car. Ideally suited for this purpose is our K4005 amplifier or the AMP200
module. The advantage of a separate supply-module is that the thick
connecting wires to the battery can be kept very short, reducing power-loss to
a minimum. Simultaneously the amplifier can be placed as close as possible to
the loudspeakers (car-boot), maintaining optimal damping for an excellent
reproduction of bass-frequencies. To avoid interference the 0V output is
separated from the car's mass (chassis). The PSU is provided with casing.

ASSEMBLY
HIGHLY IMPORTANT:
-MOUNT ALL COMPONENTS RIGHT AGAINST THE PRINTED CIRCUIT
BOARD (PCB).
- USE A SMALL SOLDERING IRON WITH 40W MAX. CAPACITY.
- USE THIN SOLDERING TIN (1mm).
- DO NOT USE SOLDERING GREASE/PASTE.
- CARELESS ASSEMBLY ALWAYS CAUSES PROBLEMS
Mount the components according to the sequence indicated in the separate
parts list. Those components marked with a ( ! ) in the assembly guide should be
given special attention.
1- Jumpers.
2- 1/4W resistors.
3- 1W resistors.
4- Diodes. Mount these diodes as indicated in the diagram. Watch the polarity!
5- IC sockets.
6- Transistors.
7- Capacitors.
8- Electrolytic capacitors. Watch the polarity!
9- Electrolytic capacitors. Watch the polarity!
