Installation Instructions
The PC5200 can be used to provide up to 1.0A of additional current to the
PC50X0 control panel (see PC50X0 Installation Manual for complete installation
instructions). The PC5020 v3.1 supports up to four PC5200 modules.
Specifications
• Module Current Draw: 20mA
• Auxiliary Current: 1.0A continuous rating; 3.0A short term if backup battery
connected (PTC-protected - fuseless design)
• Transformer requirements: 16.5V, 40VA
• Battery requirements: 4Ah minimum
Terminal Descriptions
AC - The PC5200 requires a 16V, 40VA transformer. Connect the transformer to
an unswitched AC source and connect the transformer to these terminals.
AUX AUX
AUX AUX AUX - This terminal is used to provide power for devices. Maximum current
draw is not to exceed 1.0A continuous or 3.0A short term (with a backup
battery connected).
TAM - This can be used to tamper the cabinet the PC5200 is mounted in.
Connect a normally closed (NC) switch across TAM and BLK. If the tamper is
not being used connect a piece of wire across TAM and BLK to remove the
trouble condition.
Keybus- The 4-wire Keybus connection is used by the panel to communicate Keybus Keybus Keybus Keybus
with the module. Connect the RED, BLK, YEL and GRN terminals to the RED,
BLK, YEL and GRN Keybus terminals on the PC50X0 control panel.
