Intended Use The Emfit Nocturnal Epileptic Tonic-Clonic Seizure Monitor (device model D-1090-2G and sensor model L-4060SL) is intended to be used for monitoring a person with epilepsy in a bed or on a chair and notifying caregiver of an over preset continued tonic- clonic seizure, with muscle jerkings. -

THE SENSOR MUST ALWAYS BE PLACED BENEATH A MATTRESS OR MATTRESS PAD. SENSOR MUST NOT BE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH A PERSON! THE EMFIT BED SENSOR IS DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND USE BELOW THE MATTRESS, AGAINST A HARD BED BOTTOM FOR 4 – 5 YEARS OF USE. MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS REPLACING IT AFTER 6 YEARS FROM MANUFACTURING DATE OR AFTER 5 YEARS OF USE, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. -
