This feature can be used to check the version of
software currently installed. When in DTV mode,
it includes additional diagnostic information such
as signal strength, signal quality, centre frequency,
modulation, etc

From the SETUP menu, press  or  to select
System Information.

Press OK to display the Boot Code Version and
APP SW Version.

particular multiplex, press  or  to select that
multiplex.

Press OK for a screen showing detailed technical
information about the selected multiplex.

Over-the-air Upgrade

The Over-the-air Upgrade function is used when
a Software Upgrade is required for the TV in the
future.
NOTE:
• This function may not work depending on the
country selected for Country.
• The Over-the-air Upgrade may not function
correctly depending on the local area broadcasting
conditions, and the signal receiving environment.
Auto Upgrade
When Auto Upgrade is On, the television
automatically searches for upgrade information.
When new upgrade information is found, a
confi rmation screen is displayed.
• Automatic searching is not performed when the
television is in standby.

DTV Settings and press OK.

Press  or  to select Over-the-air Upgrade
menu and press OK.

Using the TV's features

Press  or  to select Auto Upgrade.

Searching for New Software
If preferred, software upgrades can be searched for
manually using Search for New Software.

From the SETUP menu, press  or  to select
DTV Settings and press OK.

Press  or  to select Over-the-air Upgrade
menu and press OK.

Press  or  to select Auto Upgrade and press
 or  to select On.

Press  or  to select Search for New
Software.

Press OK. The television will automatically start
searching for a software upgrade, the progress
bar will move along the line.
If an upgrade is found, a message will be
displayed on the television. Follow the
instructions in the message. If no upgrades
are found, a screen will appear stating that no
upgrades are available.

Resetting the TV

Reset TV will reset all TV settings, including stored
channels, to their original factory values.

Reset TV.

A screen will appear warning that all settings
