    Extending the sides with other types of side extensions is prohibited. The tipping trailers are intended to be fitted only to Avant loaders or to other sufficiently robust garden tractors or all terrain vehicles. The trailers must not be coupled to cars or tractors, and they are not suitable for road use.

    7 (28) 3. Safety instructions Please bear in mind that safety is the result of several factors. The loader-attachment combination is highly powerful and improper or careless use or maintenance may cause serious personal injury or property damage. Due to this, all operators must carefully familiarise themselves about correct use and the operator's manuals of both the loader and the attachment before starting operation.
  • Page 8 8 (28)  Make sure to use only an attachment that is in good condition. Check the attachment thoroughly in regular intervals. Do not modify the attachment in a manner that would affect its safety. It is prohibited to drill holes on the attachment, and welding or other means of fixing hooks or other objects on the attachment is strictly prohibited.

    11 (28) 4.1 Safety labels and main components of the attachment Listed below are the labels and markings on the attachment. They must be visible and readable on the equipment. Replace any unclear or missing label. New labels are available via your retailer or contact information provided on the cover.

    13 (28) 5. Assembling the attachment Hitching the Tipping trailer is quick and easy, but it must be done carefully. A trailer that becomes separated may slide or swing hitting the operator or other persons. To avoid hazardous situations, always follow the following instructions for hitching.

    14 (28) Crushing hazard - Support the Tipping trailer properly when loading or unhitching. A loaded trailer may swing or move abruptly when unhitching it. A heavy trailer that starts to move can not be controlled manually. Due to this, the supporting of the trailer must be taken care of when loading or unhitching the trailer.

    If your loader is not listed in Table 1 on page , ask your Avant dealer before using this attachment. Avoid running over persons - Check surroundings before driving. Always look in the direction the loader is moving.
  • Page 16 16 (28) The information shown in Table 5 can be used to estimate the weight of the load and to avoid too heavy loads. The values shown in table are intended to serve as general guidelines. Actual material densities may vary greatly according to factors such as moisture content, grain size, and compactness of the material.

    17 (28) 6.2 Use Set the attachment to working position by locking the trailer to hitch coupling. When transporting load with the trailer, make sure that the load is well balanced and stays firmly. The load must be transported calmly, and the swinging of the load must be avoided.

    18 (28) 6.2.1 Opening and removing the sides After opening the locking of the sides, the plates can be removed by lifting them straigth upwards. Keep the sides attached and locked always during transitions. Extra extending of the sides is prohibited.

    19 (28) 6.2.2 Tipping the trailer Use the tipping function only from the driver’s seat and only at the final emptying area. Verify that tipping is safe by checking the terrain inclinations and by keeping others at a safe distance away from the equipment due to the overturning risk of the trailer.

  • Page 21: Road Traffic Light Kit (Optional Extra)

    A road traffic light kit is available as an option. To use the road traffic lights a 7-pole trailer light connector must be installed to the loader. Contact your Avant dealer for more information. The road traffic light kit by itself does not make the trailer legal for road use in your country. There may be restrictions about using a trailer attached to a loader on public roads.

    22 (28) 6.5 Storage Uncouple and store the attachment on level ground. The best way to store the attachment is a place where it is protected from direct sunlight, rain, and extreme temperatures.  Avoid leaving the towing hitch of the trailer directly on the ground.

    Finding any fault means that the hydraulic hose or component must be replaced and the equipment must not be used until it is repaired.     24 (28) 7.2 Cleaning the attachment Clean the attachment regularly to prevent accumulation of dirt which is more difficult to remove. A pressure washer and mild detergent can be used for cleaning. Do not use strong solvents, and do not spray directly at the hydraulic components, or at the labels on the attachment.

    25 (28) 8. Warranty terms Avant Tecno Oy grants a warranty of one year (12 months) from the date of purchase for the attachment it manufactures. The warranty covers repair costs as follows:  Work costs are covered, if the repair is not performed at the factory.
