Attach the metal filter.
(1) Insert the three catches on the metal filter into the
grooves in the panel.
(2) Bend the metal filter a little and insert the three pro-
jecting parts on the opposite side into the grooves in
the panel, one by one.
Note: Bending the metal filter too strongly could damage
it, rendering it unusable. Be very careful to only bend the
metal filters a little when attaching them.

Attach the air filter to the projector.
(1) Insert the catches in the air filter into the grooves in
the projector.
(2) Turn the two screws clockwise to tighten them.
The number of screws differs depending on the air
filter.
This completes cleaning of one of the air filters.
Clean the other air filters in the same way.

Reset the air filter usage time.
See "Filter Cleaning" under "Reset" on Page 53.
For small type air filters
1. Using the procedure in step
screw counterclockwise until it is disen-
gaged, then lift the air filter (small type) a
little to remove it.
The screws do not come off.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from both the
front and back sides of the filter and from the projector.
Note:
・ Do not remove the metal filter. Doing so may bend it,
rendering it unusable.
・ Do not wash the air filter in water. Doing so will cause
the dust to clog the holes, reducing intake
performance.
3. Using the procedure in step
