other maintenance jobs with the tool;
- when the tool behaves in an unusual manner;
- when the tool is to be left unattended.
p) Upon completion of working with the tool disconnect it from
the electric power grid and check for possible damage. In case
when even a smallest malfunctioning or deficiency is detected the tool
should be handed over for repair to an authorized workshop. Do never
attempt to open the tool casing or repair the device on your own as it is
associated with a hazard of electrocution.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE OF THE MACHINE:
The garden leaf sweeper /blower is provided with a mechanism designed
to collect leaves and garden wastes as well as in a blower, therefore the
device can be operated either in the suction or in blowing mode. In the
suction mode the collected leaves and garden wastes are chopped and
disintegrated to diminish them in volume and than forwarded to the
waste bag. In the blowing mode the leaves can be quickly shifted to a
desired location or blown out from hard accessible places.
To make it easy to guide the suction pipe on the ground the tool is
provided with wheels attached to the bottom end of the suction
implement.
The garden leaf sweeper /blower is an electric device of the second class
of protection (doubled insulation), therefore it needs no earthing. The
safety requirements state that operation of the device is allowed only
when the suction pipe and the waste bag are in place.
The garden leaf sweeper /blower (hereinafter referred as the
'blower') is designed to collect or blown away withered leaves,
grass, small twigs and saw dust or timber chips after cutting of
wood.
NOTE: The appliance is not suitable for collection of garbage. Do not use the
blower at locations where stone debris or other hard pieces (coke, acorns,
horse-chestnuts, etc ) may be found. Hard pieces deteriorate the bladed
wheel of the device (such a defect is not covered by the warranty).
The product is meant exclusively for household applications and
is not designed for use at public facilities, parks and sport
centres as well as for agriculture or forestry. Any use of the
device for professional applications as well as any application of
the blower not in line with the aforementioned intended use is
forbidden and makes the warranty right null and void. The
manufacturer shall not be held responsible for consequential
damage that may arise due to or in connection with such
application.
Any unauthorized modifications of the device carried out by users on
their own release the manufacturer from responsibility for failures and
harms to users and the environment.
The intended use of the blower includes also its maintenance, storage,
transportation and repairs.
The blower can be repaired only by service workshops appointed by the
manufacturer. Any tools supplied from the electric power network can be
repaired exclusively by authorized electricians.
Residual risk
n
Despite application of the device in line with the intended use, it is
impossible to eliminate all specific factors of residual risk that may arise
due to incorrect behaviour of people who operate the device.
The highest risk occurs when the following forbidden operations take
place:
- the device is operated by children;
- the device is operated when third persons, in particular children or
animals are present nearby;
- the device is operated by persons who are not familiar with the User
Manual;
- the device is operated by person who fail to wear appropriate clothes
that protects the operator's body and shoes that cover his/her feet.
- the device is operated with damaged safety shields or enclosure as
well as without correctly installed and operable safety appliances.
